LEVEL: EASY – MODERATE
This ride takes you through the North Eastern edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, offering spectacular views of the coast and rolling countryside.
While it is relatively flat, there are a few gradual climbs
There are numerous refreshment options in the village of Hunmanby, including Yorkshire’s only whisky distillery (Spirit of Yorkshire with tours, shop & cafe). However, most of the ride is in open countryside with no facilities.
The route avoids main roads.
There is a section which runs along the busy A165 but this is on a cycle path.
Most of the route is on small, quiet country roads with very little traffic, even at busy times of year.
