Athol Guest House is situated in the heart of the beautiful historic town of Filey with its wide choice of tea rooms, cafes, restaurants, bars and independent shops.
We are situated close to the town centre and award winning beach, with only a five minute walk to the train and bus station.
On arrival you will receive a warm welcome from Sam & Diane from the moment you step over the threshold. We have five comfortable rooms including a family room with bunkbeds.
All rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard, have en-suite facilities, a flat screen TV and guests can stay connected with free WiFi.
We provide a mix of value, comfort and convenience which offers the ideal setting to enjoy a relaxing break or for business purposes. Activities such as golf, tennis, cycling or long brisk walks along the coastline can be enjoyed during your stay. Diane and Sam are only too happy to provide you with ideas and information about the surrounding area.
There is plenty of free on street parking in close proximity and also a large pay and display car park 500 yards away.
A hearty breakfast awaits you served with produce sourced as locally as possible. Fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereal or homemade porridge is available for starters. Followed by a choice of full English or vegetarian options. All dietary requirements can be catered for.
In 2019 we won a gold award from Filey in Bloom and we are working towards being plastic free.
Large items such as golf clubs or bicycles can be placed in secure storage during your stay.
