This route takes you through Wolds villages, including Rudson with its ancient monolith, and on to the historic village of Burton Agnes. Here you can explore the historic stately home and gardens, which are open to the public, along with its tea rooms (check their website for opening times).
The ride is all on road, with mainly quiet country lanes, though there are short stretches on busier roads.
There are a number of relatively short climbs.
There are a several pubs en route (though with limited opening times, particularly out of the holiday season).
There is a big range of refreshment options in Hunmanby, which are open all year.
